Hybrid construction. Brushed cotton cord sits in the upper hand, where moisture causes the most problems. The cord pulls sweat and rain away so the club does not turn on you. The lower hand is softer performance rubber, which keeps feel and feedback through impact.
The Plus4 profile. The lower hand is built larger, roughly the equivalent of four extra wraps of tape. That reduced taper does two things: it encourages lighter grip pressure, and it stops the right hand from taking over through the strike. Many golfers who fight a hook find this alone settles the ball flight.
ALIGN technology. A raised ridge runs down the back of the grip. You feel it at address, which means your hands go to the same place every time instead of drifting shot to shot. It also gives you clubface awareness through the swing, which matters most on longer clubs.
Golf Pride MCC Plus4 grips suit players who practice regularly and want repeatable hand placement. If your setup varies and you have never been able to pin down why some rounds feel comfortable and others do not, a ribbed grip removes that variable.

MCC Plus4 grips are available in standard, midsize, and jumbo. Remember that the Plus4 build already adds bulk to the lower hand, so a standard Plus4 feels closer to a midsize grip in the right hand.

Standard regripping applies, with one extra step. Because the ridge has to sit correctly, line it up with the clubface before the solvent sets. Cut the old grip off, clean the shaft, wrap fresh tape, soak it, slide the new grip on, then square the ridge to the leading edge and check it from address before it dries. Leave the club a few hours before you play.
